WHAT YOU CHOOSE TO SHARE

The contact form asks for your name and email. Phone number, your connection to the community, and a message are optional. You can select “Prefer not to say” or leave the identity choices blank.

Use the form for participation, volunteering, partnerships, giving, and general questions. Please do not submit medical histories, diagnoses, Social Security numbers, payment credentials, or other sensitive information. AWF’s website and inbox are not clinical intake or crisis response services.

HOW CONTACT MESSAGES REACH US

“Prepare My Email” creates an email draft on this page. You can open it in Gmail, Outlook.com, Microsoft 365, or your configured email app, or copy the details into another email service. The draft is addressed to info@awarenesswarriors.org and includes the information you entered. You review it and decide whether to send it.

Choosing a webmail link passes the draft details to the email provider in the link’s address. The address may appear in browser history. Please use this form for general inquiries and avoid sensitive information. Copying the details instead lets you paste them into the email service of your choice.

The website does not send the email automatically or submit the form to a separate delivery service. AWF receives your inquiry only when you send the email. Your email provider and AWF’s email provider process the email under their respective privacy practices.

Your entries stay on the current page until you clear them or leave the page. AWF’s code does not save the form entries in browser storage.

HOW AWF USES THE INFORMATION

AWF uses your information to respond to your inquiry, coordinate the activity or relationship you ask about, and maintain relevant correspondence or donation records. Sending an inquiry does not sign you up for a marketing mailing list.

AWF’s policy is not to sell or rent contact-form information or donor information. Access should be limited to people helping AWF handle the inquiry, relevant service providers, and disclosures required by law.

DONATIONS & PAYMENTS

Our donation link takes you to Cash App. Cash App collects and processes payment information on its own service; AWF’s website does not ask for or store bank or payment-card details.

AWF may receive information associated with your payment, such as your name or $cashtag, amount, date, reference, and any payment note. We use relevant transaction information for donation records and acknowledgments. Review Cash App’s Privacy Notice ↗ before using its service.

WEBSITE OPERATIONS & ANALYTICS

With your permission, AWF uses Google Analytics to understand website visits and page views. Analytics is optional. Our Google Analytics tag loads only after you choose “Accept Analytics.” Declining does not affect access to the website. We respect the Global Privacy Control signal by leaving optional analytics off.

Google Analytics may process technical information such as your IP address, browser and device information, page visits, and cookie identifiers. Google provides AWF with reports about site use. AWF disables Google signals and advertising personalization in its website tag and does not send contact-form answers, names, email addresses, identity selections, or messages to Analytics. Our tag removes query strings and fragments from page addresses and reduces referrers to their website origin before sending these fields. AWF does not add Analytics to the Get Support resource directory.

We store your analytics choice in this browser for up to six months. If you accept, Analytics cookies may last up to six months. You can change your choice using “Analytics Settings” in the footer of any page. Withdrawing permission stops future Analytics collection from this browser and clears Analytics cookies accessible to this site; it does not automatically delete information previously processed by Google.

Hosting, email, and payment providers may separately process technical information such as IP addresses, browser information, request times, or security logs, and may use cookies for their services. Their own privacy practices also apply.

RETENTION & YOUR CHOICES

AWF keeps correspondence as needed to respond, coordinate ongoing activities, and maintain records for organizational or legal purposes. Email and donation records may also be retained by AWF’s service providers under their own practices.

You can ask AWF to correct or delete information you have shared, or ask about how it has been used, by emailing info@awarenesswarriors.org. We may need to verify the request and retain records needed for legal, accounting, or other legitimate organizational purposes. Requests about information held independently by Cash App or another provider should also be directed to that provider.

YOUNG PEOPLE & PUBLIC STORIES

The contact form is intended for adults. If you are under 18, ask a parent or guardian to contact AWF on your behalf. Please avoid sending identifying or medical details about a child.

Event photographs and participant testimonials are public website content. If you have a question about an image or story featuring you or a child in your care, contact AWF with the page and a description so we can review it.

SECURITY & EXTERNAL LINKS

Use only the contact and donation links published on this website. Do not send passwords or financial credentials to AWF. Internet and email transmission involve risks; the general contact form should not be used to share sensitive records.

Our Facebook and Instagram links open those services only when you choose a link; this website does not embed their feeds or social tracking widgets. Resource links and other external sites are operated by their respective organizations. Their content, services, and privacy practices are outside AWF’s control.
